• Check - vessel maintenance tasks are complete before start-up, if not get the same cleared from engg.
• Ensure Vessel is in clean condition & ready for batch charging.
• Ensure weighing balance is in proper condition; calibrate the same as per requirement before start of RM charging. Record the details in batch card.
• Start Batch preparation activity and charging of RM.
• Record charging qty, pressure, flow, temp, unloading etc (as applicable) in batch card.
• Be vigilant in process monitoring, visual checks while batch is in process and provide regular field report to shift In-charge regarding process conformity and abnormalities observed, if any.
• Maintain communication and coordination with the panel officers while batch is in process.
• Highlight deviations immediately to avoid rework / failure and control delay in delivery.
• Submit in-process sample to QC for analysis, obtain results & record in batch card & sample register.
• Arrange packing of the product, ensure that there are no stains / spills on the drum / IBC top. Hand over the drums / IBC’s in clean condition to FG stores. Ensure zero damage to the drums / IBC’s.
• Before packing, do cleaning of IBC’s, ensure that they are clean – follow IBC’s cleaning checklist.
• Ensure that all the FG packages are properly labeled.
• Properly maintain the lot nos and batch nos. (as applicable) for RM / FG during all charging, unloading or loading activities. Records to be maintained in batch card / log book and labels.
• Ensure proper handling of materials from workmen and forklift operators.
