Company Overview:
The company manufacturers of glass Ampoules and Tubular Vials since 1956. We supply high-quality products to many of the leading pharmaceutical companies from our two state of the art manufacturing facilities. Our product range includes glass Ampoules from 1ml to 30ml and tubular glass Vials from 1ml to 50ml, used as primary packaging in complex injectable.
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a capable factory manager who demonstrates strong leadership qualities and can
manage various business functions including Admin, HR, logistics and production activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Strong administrative skills and ability to successfully manage entire administrative and HR functions, hiring of workers, and managing a workforce of over 300 people
- Comprehensive knowledge of labour laws, ESIC, PF, and other relevant statutory regulations
- Manage all compliances under the Factories Act, license requirements, and local laws
- Liaise with local government departments and key personnel such as factory inspectors, labour officers, etc.
- Manage local vendors, contractors, logistics partners and other key supply chain functions
- Coordinate logistics with freight partners and facilitate dispatches for inward and outward transport
- Develop a strong understanding of the manufacturing and quality processes and related key activities to be able to actively contribute to the process of continuous improvement
- Ability to manage disputes, attend to customer complaints and provide timely resolutions in coordination with various departments
- Provide regular reports and KPIs to senior management
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- 12-15 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications
- Must be a local from Vapi / Daman / Valsad or neighbouring areas
